The site has a marvellous open-air heated swimming pool, which is free to residents, with a children’s area. There are also shops and a restaurant on site as well as a supermarket across the road.
The area is dotted with pretty villages nearby and is close to the picturesque Norfolk Broads and many wonderful beaches in the area. Shops are a short walk, and the dog friendly pubs even closer. The gloriously sandy Scratby beach is just 300 metres from the Beach Road Chalet Park and is accessed by a surfaced slope. Before descending, you are able to take in the magnificent view.
Note: Scratby village has several chalet and caravan parks. Guests staying at Beach Road Chalet Park are welcome to use the facilities on offer in these other parks, though some facilities may incur additional cost.

The Pink Palace arcade, located nearby the beach car park, is a superb amusement centre. The arcade is a family run business and boasts a friendly atmosphere, which thrives with families spending some of their holiday pennies, having fun! Whilst staying at the holiday park, the California Tavern is awesome pub to visit. This brilliant pub is located on the Scratby cliffs, serving mouth-watering traditional pub food. Furthermore, it is also dog friendly! Whether you’re looking to dine for an evening meal or to enjoy a pint in the beer garden, the tavern offers both. The pub thrives with an electric atmosphere as local bands play live music and perform tribute songs. Every Friday and Saturday night throughout the peak season live music hosted at the pub. The Lost World Adventure Golf in Hemsby is one of the most popular themed golf courses near Beach Road Chalet Holiday Park. The 9-hole golf course consists of amazing decorations as you work your way around the course. You’ll find yourself putting past dinosaurs, water obstacles, fossils and an Aztec temple. Furthermore, there are a range of tropical plants as well as sound effects.
Not only is there a golf course, but the venue also features panning for gold and jungle jeeps! You can hunt for golden treasures with a bucket and gold pans in order to win a prize.
