Unlike other holiday resorts, when you book a holiday at Breydon Water you get two parks for the price of one! The site is split into two side: Yare and Bure Village, which holiday makers have access to both. Therefore, guests can enjoy both worlds by using the facilities both sides have to offer. The two sides of the park face one another across the road. this means there is easy access to both Bure and Yare Village.
Firstly, Yare Village is often described as the ‘lively’ side of the park as it features the amazing evening entertainment show bar. As well as the family-friendly Boathouse restaurant & bar where families can enjoy a delicious meal. The incredible family entertainment is hosted every night, along with the dancing disco which invites all guests to have a boogie! Furthermore, on Yare village, there are plenty of sporty activities too. This includes a multi sports court, heated outdoor pool with a slide and an adventure playground.
Bure Village
In contrary, Bure Village is often described as the ‘quieter’ side of the park. Whilst there is not an entertainment centre, there’s no need to worry as there is still plenty to do! Adults and older children can keep in shape with the fully equipped gym and relax in the indoor heated pool. Alternatively, you can enjoy a family splash at the swimming facilities and take a plunge in the pool. Moreover, there is a brilliant adventure playground for the younger members of the family to take advantage of. Children can enjoy climbing on the obstacles, whooshing down the slide and making new friends whilst on holiday.

Hippodrome Circus

The Hippodrome Circus is Britain’s only surviving historic circus building, making it totally unique to Great Yarmouth. It was built in 1903 and is full of circus history. In which the water show is unquestionably phenomenal! The Summer Spectacular takes places from the beginning of July to the middle of September and it is a show that you will never forget.
Pleasurewood Hills
The biggest theme park in Norfolk and Suffolk is only a 15 minute drive away from the village. The fantastic Pleasurewood Hills has over 35 rides and attractions! There is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. First and foremost, the park is brilliant for both younger children and teens, as there are a variety of rides to choose from. Therefore, it is a perfect theme park for families with children of all ages. It boasts a family friendly environment with a range of family rides including carousel, mini dodgems, a pirate ship and chair lifts.

Not only are there great attractions nearby Breydon Water, but it is also surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife. Burgh Castle is only a short walk from the holiday park, full of British heritage with stunning rural views. The fort is full of wildlife and boasts panoramic views. From June to September, every Sunday you can enjoy a 45-minute guided tour to learn interesting facts about the castle. Moreover, the tours are completely free and hosted by friendly volunteers which are brilliant.
Additionally, nearby Burgh Castle is Berney Marshes and Breydon Water Reserve, a protected area of the Norfolk Broads. It is renowned for being an area packed full of wildlife and loved by tourists for many reasons. Firstly, it is prime bird watching spot with a huge variety of birds that visit the wet grassland and saltmarsh area. Along with being home to different birds including redshanks, wigeons and lapwings, the season of spring.
