Also 4×4 off-roaders in 2020, so all the kids can ride around the park in their own little trucks.
There is direct beach access from Caister holiday park. The beach is absolutely stunning. It stretches for miles, with gorgeous golden sand and sometimes some big crashing waves. On a good day you can even spot a few seals in the sea. Having this access makes your holiday that little bit easier. You don’t have to pack up the car with your bucket and spades or worry about leaving something behind. You can go straight from your accommodation to the sandy beach, and if you’ve forgotten something, you’re not too far to go back. Don’t worry about the dreaded words “mummy I need the toilet” because you’ll be close enough to your accommodation to run back.
This holiday park isn’t just perfect for families, it is also perfect for couples wanting a relaxing weekend away. If you just want a few nights away next to the beach then this park is definitely for you. On a summer’s day, you can take a nice stroll along the beach and enjoy a splash in the sea. You can then go back to your accommodation, freshen up and enjoy some 5-star entertainment in the Live Lounge. The entertainment is amazing. The Funstars always go above and beyond to put on an incredible performance every night for all guests to enjoy. They put on some amazing shows and acts throughout the year, including live music, comedy shows and dance floor action for all the family.
Just a ten-minute car journey is the beautiful Norfolk Broads. On a summer’s day the Norfolk Broads are perfect for a family day out. You can hire a boat on the broads either for a few hours or a full day. Take a picnic and some sun cream and just sit back and relax. The Norfolk Broads can be a really fun and exciting day out, especially if the kids haven’t ever been on a boat. Along the broads there are lots of lovely quaint pubs by the riverbank. You can park up and grab a bit to eat and a fresh drink in the sun. You can then sail into the sunset with a glass of bubbly.
If you are in the area and interested in cars and history, then why not visit the Caister Castle. The 90-foot tower in Caister on sea is a real hidden gem. The tower remains intact and visitors can climb to the top for a magnificent view of the castle ruins and the surrounding area. The Castle is also currently home to the largest private collection of motor vehicles in Britain which is housed in a purpose-built museum and includes many fine and rare veteran, vintage, classic, sports and touring automobiles and motorcycles. If you would like an interesting and unique day out, I would recommend the Caister Castle, especially on a nice summer’s day.
