Located between Great Yarmouth and Gorleston beach

The holiday park is ideally located between Great Yarmouth and Gorleston beach, giving you the best of both worlds! Great Yarmouth is a lively seaside town with miles of glorious sands, lots of delicious ice cream parlours and is one of the UK’s most popular seaside resorts. In contrary, Gorleston beach is quieter and less crowded, which is perfect if you want to avoid a busy seaside resort. Great Yarmouth has so much to offer with lots of shops, brilliant pubs and restaurants, thrilling amusement rides and arcades as well as a beautiful beach. Whether you spend the day sunbathing on the sands of trying your luck on the fruit machines, you are guaranteed to have a fun day out at Great Yarmouth. As you walk along the promenade, you will find the exciting Pirates Cove crazy adventure golf course. With 18 challenging holes with outstanding pirate themed decoration, a game of crazy golf is ideal for some family fun.

Cloudy – rainy days

For those less sunny days, there is still so much you can do at Great Yarmouth. Whether you enjoy a day of retail therapy or spending holiday pennies in the arcades, there is lots you can do. If you’re looking for a fun family activity to burn off some energy, then you can whizz around the skating ring. Retro Skate in Great Yarmouth is an awesome roller-skating arena with a lively atmosphere and is a brilliant afternoon out. No matter your ability, a beginner or pro-skater you are welcomed to enjoy the party at retro skate. Forgot to bring your skates on holiday? Not a problem, as you can hire roller-skates for the day so you don’t have to miss out. Throughout the day the staff host fun games for everyone to get involved with. Furthermore, every Saturday evening they host ‘Roller Disco’ with a live DJ playing a huge variety of different music. After skating on the disco floor, you are bound to work up an appetite, and the roller café offers delicious food where you can grab a bite to eat. Banham Zoo

If you fancy a day away from the seaside and to be surrounded with over 2,000 different animals then Banham Zoo is the place to go. About a 60 minute drive away from Cherry Tree Holiday Park you can visit the award-winning family wildlife attraction and it is definitely worth the distance! Banham Zoo is Norfolk’s spectacular zoo spreading across a colossal 50 acres of beautiful woodlands and gardens. There is a huge variety of different animal’s home to Banham Zoo including exotic African animals, amazing birds and reptiles, as well as loved domestic livestock. Throughout the day you can watch different animal feeds and talks, enjoy the outdoor play areas and interactive sections of the park. For the animal enthusiasts, you can get even closer to the animals, with VIP experiences, you can feed the giraffes, sea lions, cheetahs and even tigers yourself! When the sun is shining a day at Banham Zoo is an awesome family day out.

Norfolk Broads and Burgh Castle

For the tiny tots and younger children, there is whole designated area of smaller rides and a bunch of thrilling rides for the teenagers and adults.
