Ingoldmells houses the spectacular Hardy’s Animal Farm which is a must visit. This great day out is set in over 7 acres of Lincolnshire countryside yet just 10-minute walk from the beach! Come rain or sunshine, there’s plenty of activities to keep your whole family entertained. Make sure to meet the animals at Hardy’s animal Farm. Head to farmyard friends to be greeted by friendly kune pigs. Then head to the feeding frenzy of fun, loving goats. You can also find swee6t baby chicks and even newly hatched ducklings! Next stop is the specially glazed breeding unit where you can see piglets feeing from their mothers. Unquestionably, this experience together is often a family highlight. Especially if you’re lucky enough to see piglets being born. Over in the compound, you can find snuggled up bunnies and guinea pigs. And if meeting all these animals isn’t enough, there are some very chatting birds to keep you amused in the Avery. Not to mention, you can find a variety of cows, sheep and Shetlands in the spacious paddocks. After meeting the animals, the kids can burn off any excess energy on the outdoor adventure playground. Skegness

Possibly Britain’s most famous seaside resort otherwise known as Skegness is less than a ten-minute drive away too! It was the arrival of the railway in 1873 that led to the radical transformation of the town. Back then, the population was about 350, however as the railway bought in Sunday day trips, it was no longer before the locals set up stalls of refreshment and commodities. Skegness traditional pier soon followed to open in 1881 to cater for all the holiday makers. At the time, the pier cost £20,840 which would have been £2.17 million in today’s money. The pier once reached 561, but now only stretches to 118m. Today, Skegness continues to be the perfect family destination. Afterall, it’s the perfect place to soak up some good British sun on award-winning sands eating your favourite traditional seaside treats. Not to mention the vast array of amusements and arcades providing the ultimate family entertainment.

The coastline of Skegness consists of magical sand dunes, saltmarshes, ponds, and lagoons, which provides a bit of fun for everyone! Besides traditional seaside attractions, Skegness is home to many other great attractions. One must visit has to be Natureland Seal Sanctuary. But there is so much more to see than just their seals! The tropical butterfly exhibit is always a firm favourite, along with its penguins, meerkats, alpacas and more. Alternatively, take a journey to an underwater world of marine life, pirates, and lost treasure at Skegness Aquarium. Stroll through its sea caves and come face to face with lionfish and moon jellies. Don’t forget to check out the baby shark nursery, the common Octopus and cute clown fish nursery. Wander through the Wreck of Hispaniola, snoop in Long John Silvers Store and touch the sand of Treasure Island. Undoubtedly, this makes for the perfect family day out! Mablethorpe is a firm favourite seaside destination on the Lincolnshire coast. Although many people would say they prefer Skegness, you can soon avoid the long ques and crowded attractions and head up on Mablethorpe. When it Mablethorpe, make sure to hop on board the Ride on Sand Train. With round trips being just £2.00 each, this is super affordable and so much fun. The sand train starts the day at the main beach and travels down to the Seal Sanctuary and Back. Not to forget there’s five stops along the way. You can soon ditch the car, and simply hop on board. Slightly further down the coast towards the seal sanctuary is Queens Park. This has a boating lake, paddling pool, golf putting green, bowling green, tennis courts and a miniature railway.
