Kelling Heath Holiday Park is set amongst 300 acres of woodland and open heathland, very close to the picturesque coastline of North Norfolk. A wonderful place to participate in lots of activities with family and friends or maybe just have a relaxing break with your partner. There are countless footpaths within the 300 acres, where you can drink in the beauty of the Norfolk countryside and the stunning views of the Weybourne coastline. Or maybe you would prefer to enjoy the swimming pool with its enclosed patio, surrounded by an attractive Norfolk stone and flint wall with a backdrop of mature pines, where toddlers will love the integral paddling pool. For the more energetic, there are tennis courts, an eco-gym and adventure playgrounds. A choice of entertainment at Kelling Heath includes open air music at The Folly, inside the Forge & Terrace during early and late season. And entertainment for the children.

There are various options for dining at Kelling Heath, including ‘Pizza on the Square’ where you can dine inside the restaurant, or choose from the take-away menu. The Forge & Terrace is a table service dining restaurant and you also have the option of visiting The Forge Bar which offers a relaxed pub atmosphere. The restaurant boasts locally sourced food to the highest quality. The menus include daily specials which reflect the season so there are mussels on offer in the spring and venison in the autumn.
Please note Kelling Heath Holiday Park facilities are generally closed towards the end of October until the following March, at the park’s discretion. Passes to use the facilities can be purchased from the park. Your booking is for accommodation only and 2cHolidays cannot be held liable for any disruption to these facilities.
Kelling Heath facilities are open from the end of March through to October, however opening times may vary on some facilities throughout the season as some facilities only operate fully during high season months. Kelling Heath Holiday Park is a stunning woodland park, boasting 300 acres of land which is all surrounded by natural beauty. Unlike most of our holiday parks, Kelling Heath is slightly different to our typical seaside holiday resort, however it is well-loved by many of our guests! The park is situated in a unique area of heathland, a wonderful environment where you can relax in the heart of nature. And with local beaches within a 2 mile radius, you can still enjoy the fresh sea breeze whilst staying at Kelling Heath Holiday Park, offering the best of both worlds!
Our accommodation at Kelling Heath Holiday Park is situated in the heart of the woodland environment, giving it a totally tranquil and relaxing feel. If you’re looking for a holiday to unwind and reconvene with nature, then this holiday park will definitely suit you! Or perhaps if you’re looking for a weekend away to spend some quality family time together then Kelling Heath is the place to go. The park has an incredible amount of different nature walks and trails, in fact there is over 7 different trails you can explore! For those who like to be active on holiday, why not cycle around the trails and really explore the park. If packing your bicycles is a bit of a squeeze, not to worry, the holiday park offers cycle hire which is ideal for many guests. One of the most popular trials is the nature trail. This takes you through the woodland, heathland and passes the pond, which is renowned for being an area of outstanding natural beauty. On your nature adventure, be sure to keep your eyes open for the variety of bird species and abundance of wildlife you will see.
Not only does Kelling Heath Holiday Park have outstanding woodland walks and trails, there is plenty to do onsite which all the family can enjoy. There is lots to do if you’re looking for an action-packed holiday and to keep active whilst staying at Kelling Heath. Firstly, on those warm sunny days you may cool off by taking a splash in the outdoor pool which everybody can enjoy. The outdoor pool is tailored for the smaller members of the family too, with an integrated paddling pool for toddlers. After a dip in the pool, children can let off some steam on the adventure playground, climbing the obstacles and whooshing down the slide. For the adults, you can enjoy the health & fitness club featuring its very own, modern eco-gym. The heart of the park you will find the village square, where you will find the tennis courts, table tennis and french boules available for guests to enjoy a game of. Not to forget the many eateries (or takeaway options), where you can feast on a delicious meal after a busy day on park! If you prefer to self-cater whilst staying away, then the on-site convenience store is always well stocked with a variety of branded and local produce.
The park has everything you could possibly need for a superb break away. But there is even more to do around the local area! Approximately 1.5 miles from the park is the lovely coastal village of Weybourne where you can enjoy visiting the seaside too. Weybourne is a pet friendly beach with stunning views. The pebbly beach is easy to access from the holiday park and the village has superb tea rooms, cafes and eateries where you can enjoy a refreshment. After visiting Weybourne, only a short distance away, is the fantastic Norfolk Railway. This is a brilliant day out for everyone! The historical railway is famous to Norfolk, and train runs through beautiful coastal scenery from the Victorian seaside town of Sheringham to the Georgian seaside resort of Holt. The ‘Poppy Line’ gives you the choice to travel to Holt in one direction or to Sheringham in another, you choose! As you travel back in time on the train, why not book an extra special treat? You can book tickets with food and drink packages also. There is a huge variety to choose from: the Cream Tea Train, Gin Train, Fish ‘n’ Chips Train and lunch or evening dining trains. Whatever you train or journey you choose, the Norfolk Railway is a superb day out for every one of all ages.
The local area also has a fantastic variety of different attractions for guests to visit, both for families with young children and for adults. Blakeney National Nature Reserve is a wonderful nature reserve with spectacular wildlife and beautiful coastline views. You can explore the Norfolk Coast on the miles of easy-access footpaths the reserve has to offer. Depending what time of year you visit the nature reserve, there will be a different wildlife out and about. One of the most special times to visit is over the winter months where you can see the seals and their pups being born. Blakeney is home to the largest colony of grey seals in England, with over 3,000 pups are born their each winter. It is a wonderful time to visit, as you will watch the countless seals and pups interact with one another.
For families staying at Kelling Heath Holiday Park, a fabulous day out is visiting the Amazona Zoo which children are guaranteed to love! It is in an ideal location, only a 20 minute drive away from the holiday park. The zoo is home to 200 animals with a variety of Brazilian wild animals and South American native species. The fun and interactive zoo is awesome for children, with different areas of the park tailored for children of different ages. For the younger members of the family, they will love running wild on the Jungle Tumble, a soft play adventure playground. Whilst older children can enjoy the outdoor rainforest playground. As you explore the park, you can visit the exotic animals learning interesting facts along the way. The zoo has plenty of picnic areas where you can sit and relax in the sunshine, enjoying a bite to eat. If you prefer to avoid the hassle of carrying snacks, the Jungle Café offers a range of delicious refreshments instead. A day at the Amazona Zoo is a great day out on a warm sunny day!
Travelling to Kelling Heath over the Christmas festive period is just as special. One of Norfolk’s greatest Christmas attractions is only a 20 minute drive away from the holiday park, called Thursford. Thursford Christmas Spectacular is an incredible festive performance and an award-winning production with a team of amazing dancers, singers, musicians, and variety acts. The magical show will most certainly bring that Christmas feel! Not to forget, families can also enjoy Santa’s Magical Journey which is an exciting indoor Christmas display, and walk through to meet Father Christmas himself! Without a doubt, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular show is something you will never forget and fulfils the Christmas joy for everyone.
