Lees Caravan Park is a small independent site which is perfect if you’re looking for a quiet weekend away with the beach on your doorstep. The park is located in one of Norfolk’s best seaside towns called Hunstanton or known as ‘Sunny Hunny’ by the locals. The park compromises of 17 superb dog friendly caravans. Although Lees Holiday Park has no onsite facilities, its boasts a fabulous location. First and foremost, the park is situated along beach front and only steps away from the sandy beach. Furthermore, it features outside furniture where you can enjoy a drink (or two!) in the sunshine, private parking and enclosed wooden gating which is ideal if you’re taking your dog away too.

Not only are holidays at Lees Holiday Park great for couples, but for families who want to create life-long holiday memories. Each summer the Hunstanton Kite Festival takes place. This attracts over 3,000 families for a great day out and raises around £10,000 for charity. The day consists of amazing kite displays and crafts for children to get involved with. As well as, an awesome classical car rally with around 250 vehicles! Furthermore, there are martial arts acts, a fun dog show and trade stands. Not to forget, traditional pony rides and a falconry displays too. Besides the huge variety of entertainment, there is a bar and food hall serving great snacks and drinks.

Other than the fun shows, there are so many dog friendly pubs and restaurants in Hunstanton, that you will be spoilt for choice. First and foremost, The Waterside Bar is a particular favourite pub with an outside veranda overlooking the sea. It has a superb menu offering traditional pub food and welcomes doggies. The pub hosts live music at the weekend, and thrives with a lively atmosphere. Hunstanton is full of pubs, serving local ales and traditional food. Many of which hosts local bands playing live music. The Hunstanton pubs are perfect if you enjoy a pub crawl with a variety of different pubs close by each other.
On the other hand, if you prefer delicate sweet treats, only a short 10 minute drive away is the beautiful Petals Tea rooms in Dersingham. Unlike most tea rooms, dogs are not only welcome but encouraged. The four legged customers are even offered their own sweet treat too (dog friendly of course!). The homemade bakeries are delicious, with a variety of both savoury and sweet. Visiting petals tea room for an indulgent treat during your holiday in Hunstanton, will definitely be the ‘icing on the cake’.
Activities to do nearby Lees Caravan Park
Hunstanton Beach has lots to offer for families. Whilst Lees Holiday Park doesn’t have its own swimming pool, only a 5 minute walk away is the Oasis Swimming Centre. This opens as early as 7am and closes at 9:30pm. Therefore, there is plenty of time to fit a quick dip in the pool into your day. Alive Oasis has large indoor pool, flume and a smaller separate pool for the babies and toddlers. Within the swimming centre there is also a fun indoor soft play area and a roller skating arena. Along with, holiday activities are hosted during the half terms.
Furthermore, if you like to keep active whilst on holiday, there are plenty of activities to do. You can enjoy a game of table tennis or squash at the Alive Oasis centre. Alternatively, why not relax with a cup of coffee and watch the children burn off some energy. There is just so much to do at the centre and something to suit everyone. Especially on those colder days, the Oasis centre a great way to keep the children entertained.
In contrary, on those gloriously sunny days, there are plenty of outdoor activities to do. Along the promenade you will find ‘The Wash Monsters’, award winning sea tours! Searles sea tours offer amazing boat trips to go on a seal safari. Where you will see lots of seals as well as learn many interesting facts. Moreover, there are various coastal tours which you can visit. Such as the striped cliffs, the old wreck, light house and sandbanks. All of which are make a brilliant afternoon out!
