The main beach at North Denes is particularly popular with swimmers and sunbathers due to its stunning views across the North Sea. The promenade offers plenty of places for visitors to stop for refreshments or take a leisurely stroll around the cliffs. There are also a number of traditional seaside attractions such as amusement arcades and shops, making it an ideal spot for families to enjoy.
At low tide, visitors can explore the shoreline rocks and discover fascinating sea creatures like crabs and starfish that CAN be found amongst the rock pools. It’s also possible to take boat trips from North Denes out into the open sea or along the coast, offering an exciting adventure away from land-based activities.

It is known for its famous Adnams Brewery as well as the splendid pier. The pier offers a variety of shops, eateries, eccentric inventions and the famous Water Clock. Another quieter but beautiful beach nearby North Denes Holiday Park is Gorleston-on-Sea. The town boasts miles of stunning sandy beaches and welcomes doggies to enjoy the golden sands too. Famous to Gorleston-on-Sea is the amazing ‘Bellyboos’ café, which is only for those with a sweet tooth! Bellyboos is an outstanding café and a small family run business. It is renowned for its extensive sweet menu serving delicious ice-cream sundaes, milkshakes, homemade cakes, fresh coffee and unique bubble tea.
