St Osyth Beach Holiday park is ideally located on the Essex coast, close to Clacton-on-Sea. It has much to offer, with a large indoor heated swimming pool, complete with flume and paddling area for younger children. The entertainment complex comes complete with a stage for the live shows which are on at weekends and during the peak season. The clubhouse offers food and drink to please all tastes.   

St Osyth Holiday Park is right next to the beach, so if you fancy a beach side stroll you can walk in to Clacton. Or for those less energetic, a few minutes in the car will get you there too! With its wide choice of shops, eateries, bars and amusements, and the famous Clacton Pier, you are sure to have a great day out.

St Osyth in Essex is a quaint, historic village located in the Tendring district of the county. The village is home to many historical sites, including a 12th-century Priory and an ancient market cross. St Osyth Beach is also located nearby, providing visitors with miles of sandy beaches and stunning views across the North Sea. It’s an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing, fishing and even watersports like sailing and surfing.

The beach also has plenty of amenities to make your visit more enjoyable, including snack bars and public toilets. You can also find several pubs and restaurants near the beach, serving up some delicious local cuisine. The village itself offers plenty of shops and services as well as traditional pubs and tea rooms to explore during your stay. There are plenty of activities in the area too, such as golf courses, cycle routes and nature reserves.

St Osyth has a rich history that dates back centuries. The ruins of St Osyth Priory can still be seen today; built in 1139 by Robert de Broc it was once an Augustinian monastic house before being dissolved by King Henry VIII in 1536. Its surrounding moat can still be seen today offering visitors a glimpse into the past. Other historic places of interest include a number of Grade II listed buildings such as St Peter’s Church which dates from around 1100 AD, along with many other old buildings scattered throughout the village which still retain their original character.

St Osyth is a quaint seaside village with a brilliant beach, pubs and a friendly atmosphere. The village is renowned for its Sunday market which takes from April to October annually, and on Wednesdays during the summer holidays. The St. Osyth Market thrives throughout the summer and attracts up to 5,000 visitors weekly, enjoying the hustle and bustle. The market has a huge variety of stalls from fresh fruit and vegetables to jewellery and clothing, there is so much you can find! It also includes amusements, crazy golf, children’s play area, cafes and food stalls.

Only a 10 minute drive from St Osyth Beach Holiday Park is Hasty’ s Adventure Farm which is a brilliant day out if you have children from the ages of 3 – 11 years old. On a sunny day, visiting Hasty’s Farm is perfect to interact with the lovely farm animals, climb on the adventure playground and enjoy a picnic in the sunshine. At Hasty’s Farm, the children can even experience feeding lambs, learn about farm yard animals and win a prize after completing the farm trail.

How far is St Osyths from Clacton? If you enjoy a beach stroll or taking your dog for a seaside day out, you can walk along the shore into Clacton. Don’t miss the air show which is taking place this year on August 27th & 28th (bank holiday) as it celebrates 29 years of flying! Aside from the Clacton Air Show, you can visit the East Essex Aviation Museum located in the Martello Towers, only a short drive from St Osyth Caravan Park. The museum itself is brilliant full of amazing artefacts and displays, free entry with only a donation box.
