We had a great 3 days and this stunningly clean caravan. It was cosy and welcoming. The bath was an added bonus and the shower was also really good. Caravan park was fabulous. Loads for the kids to do and the scenery was fantastic.

I stayed at this location with a view to visiting as many of the local RSPB reserves in the local area as possible. The accommodation was a real treat, clean and well presented, nice location, nice and quiet. No hen parties, stag parties, wedding parties, people talking in corridors slamming doors, in fact none of the usual comforts you get when staying in a hotel. I managed to visit 5 RSPB reserves in the area during my stay, Minsmere, Snape, Boyton & Hollesley Marshes, North Warren and Dingle Marshes. Minsmere is well worth a visit, easy to see why it has been used to present Springwatch on a number of occasions. The facilities are excellent with something for all the family, with various activities for children of all ages taking place throughout the year. Very little activity at Boyton & Hollesley on the day I visited, no facilities, just parking. Visited Snape in the early morning, again no facilities, just parking but the walk across the warren and around the marsh was worth getting up for, plenty of wildlife activity. If you like a good walk then North Warren and Dingle Marshes are also worth a visit. Dingle Marshes is well located, there is ample donation parking at Dunwich beach with toilets and a restaurant at the car park. The walk around the reserve (approx four and a half miles) is varied with shingle beach (some sand when tide is out), marshland pathways, woodland walks and footpaths through the lovely village. The holiday site does have plenty of facilities, however I cannot comment on these because I was out from early morning to early evening and just wanted to shower, eat then get to bed on my return.

We stayed for 2 nights at Carlton meres to visit friends. The caravan was lovely, very modern and clean. Had everything we needed. The kids loved it! The club house was great entertainment for the children so us adults could chat and drink

Our first experience of staying in this type of accommodation so we don't actually have anything to compare it with. The site was very pleasant and well kept with many apparently regular visitors. I can see the attraction for buyers interested in a long term holiday base. The accommodation is a riot of plastic wood but actually quite cleverly designed.. It worked well enough for us as we only needed a base for 3 days to visit other attractions in the area.
