Great location but definitely need a car. The lodge was clean & well kept & very cosy. Fresh flowers on arrival was a lovely touch by the hosts. If you want peace & quiet this is definitely for you.
Very nice settings thoroughly enjoyed Our stay every thing we needed was Available in the mobile home
We were looking for a place to stay as a base to travel around Norfolk. The holiday home was ideal. Situated on a very clean and tidy holiday park. The holiday home is in a quiet area on the park. Would recommend and return.
Lovely little vacation to be had with me and the wife and very well situate, quiet and peaceful.
Property was very clean & tidy a nice relaxing place to stay
Lovely accommodation, clean, tidy with everything you need for a great stay. A quiet and peaceful location, perfect for a restful break. Owners were extremely helpful when needed.
lovely lodge with everything you need. Lovely quiet location without the noise of lots of holiday makers, amusements and park entertainment. If you want evening entertainment and children's play areas this is not for you, but I felt that me daughter was in a safe place to scoot about and go outside on her own, with a little supervision. Great walks around the woods and lakes. Highly recommend for a quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
All went exactly as described. From first booking we were kept well informed and access once on site was easy. The accomodation was very clean and tidy with everything we needed for a self catering stay in the middle of Norfolk.
Very happy with our stay and the accommodation:)
18 Lakeview is a beautiful quiet accommodation. It was super clean and fully equipped. We loved our stay and would love to return at some point in the future.
Fantastic place to stay and lovely hosts.
The lodge was spotless when I arrived. Everything looked like new and was in good condition. Inside it was nice and warm and comfortable, with modern appliances and a Smart TV. The setting was lovely with the lake and woods to explore. And for me it was also a good base to travel from.
Super stay, and very relaxing spent with family.
Beautifully placed, well-equipped and comfortable accommodation on a lovely site. Highly recommended!
We had a lovely relaxing weekend. The lodge was was just how the pictures described but better, everything you needed The welcome pack included butter, milk, tea coffee, sugar and a selection of packet sauces also washing up liquid, dish clothes, tea towels The location was lovely and peaceful There was a good selection of d.v.ds, dominos and cards, would definitely return
An amazing place to stay, a beautiful lodge/caravan the best we’ve stayed in. Pretty walks round the lakes and seeing the geese, great location to get about in the car and the site was very relaxing & peaceful, we would definitely recommend and hopefully come back soon. Thanks for all the little touches and the for making our stay so comfortable.
Despite what I had read, the venue was easy to find. Conveniently positioned for North Norfolk travel, the lodge was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There were so many facilities that we didn’t need to use because of the nature of our stay, but it was comforting to know they were there. I was particularly impressed with how the ample lounge spilled out onto a neat patio area, suitable for outside eating and late-night drinks. I wished that the tv had more tuneable stations.
We loved staying here! Lovely lodge with modern decor. Clean and bright with nice touches like fresh flowers and milk, butter and bread in the fridge when we arrived. The site itself has some great little walks and is very peaceful. We would definitely stay again.
Absolutely gorgeous location, within sight of a river and (at the time of year) adorable geese families. It's compact but has everything you need; the kitchen in particular was impressive. Would have wanted more time to relax on the patio!
A beautiful place to stay with amazing hosts would highly recommend
A very clean comfortable place to stay. It was very quiet and seclude; nice for a peaceful break.
Hosts very friendly. We lacked for nothing while we were there.
A really cosy and spacious caravan, very clean and well equipped. In a lovely position. Would recommend and we will be returning.
We only stayed three nights, but the caravan was immaculate, complete with flowers and a fruit bowl; we wanted for nothing. Lovely location, although we spent most of our time visiting relatives. Would definitely recommend.
Had a little problem finding property but that could just have been my poor navigating skills, didn't see a sign for Haveringland Hall on the main road so my only gripe would be this. Actual property was clean, warm and welcoming with a good stocked fridge and basics supplied, no shop nearby so this was appreciated. Site itself was very quiet. We had a day out at Wroxham and Wroxham Barns then on to Aylsham, and then another day at Sheringham and a train trip from there to Holt. Good base to also visit Norwich and Cromer but we ran out of time. Lovely people when I phoned their office. Will hopefully return next year bringing my husband instead of my friend as he likes a spot of fishing and with the lake so close this property is ideal for that. Thanks 2CHols for a very enjoyable three nights stay.
Amazing lodge with lake views. Such a friendly and warm site!
We had a lovely stay at the caravan coming for Winchester area. The location is fantastic and very quiet. It is close enough to the sea and other major towns. We had time to discover the surroundings and the beautiful pebbled villages. The caravan is very well equipped and it was our first time in that type of accommodation. It has 2 bedrooms and the main one with a double bed is very comfortable. Emma was very helpful. The kitchen has all the amenities needed. We enjoyed an aperitif on the little patio. It felt very relaxing. We will do it again, especially out of season.
Lovely scenic and quiet location, comfy and warm lodge. Would recommend and go again.
Agree with all previous reviews, van is spotless, location is great and excellent views.
First class accommodation, excellent views. Thank you for the welcome pack. Thoughtful touches like the toiletries and DVDs and books. Enjoyed sitting on the veranda with a glass of wine taking in the evening sun and beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed a meal at the Bell in Cawston a very welcoming little village pub. Unfortunately we did not find a loyalty card, but thank you for the voucher.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Accommodation was very clean and well equipped. Highly recommended
Nice and cosy accommodation. I might come back next summer. Thanks Emma
We had a lovely time at Haveringland park van no 18. It was great to have the welcome pack there, very thoughtful. Everything was clean and tidy.
We loved this caravan - it was beautifully presented, with lovely touches (such as the bread, butter and milk in the fridge!). The site itself was wonderfully quiet, very friendly, and the caravan had a view of the lake. At the entrance to the site was a huge field where the kids could play! It was a very rural location, with no close amenities which suited us just fine! we were about a half hour drive into Norwich / other Norwich towns (fish and chips at Cromer were amazing!). Highly recommended 🙂
The lodge was a home from home with lots of lovely touches and stocks of items you normally don't expect - tea, coffee, sugar and milk, toiletries, cleaning materials, a great range of DVDs, books and games. The bedding and all the equipment was superb quality. The site is quiet and peaceful and the lake and grounds are lovely. A great place for a relaxing break and as a base to visit local attractions.
We were having a great stay near Norwich , this was a perfect way to spend our vacation.
Had a lovely relaxing weekend the park is so peaceful and in a wonderful setting. The accommodation is spotless and very well equipped lots of extras like welcome pack in the fridge with all the essentials we needed to get started plus fresh fruit and flowers. Ideal location for visiting Blinkling Hall Estate, Holt and the nearby coastal towns like Cromer. There are some good pubs and eating places nearby we had a good meal at the Bell Inn just down the road in Cowston a friendly village pub and the Marsham Arms. Can't wait to visit again soon.
From booking the lodge to arriving there communications were excellent. Driving from Cornwall to Norwich is quite a journey, we found the key safe a really good idea which took away the worry about arriving at a certain time. We did have some difficulties finding the lodge as it is tucked away in the countryside but once there found our way around quite easily and the road to Norwich is very good. Site is quiet, peaceful and beautifully laid out, if you want noise this site will not suit you but if you want a relaxing stress free holiday this is the place for you. The lodge itself did not disappoint and made our 10 hour journey worthwhile!. It was spotless, very well equipped with provisions in the fridge we had not expected but were very grateful for. There were also additional touches such as flowers on the table and jars of sweets in the kitchen which made the lodge feel very welcoming just like you were staying at a 'friends' place. There was a folder in the lounge showcasing the County which was helpful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed, clearly the owners put a lot of thought into making the lodge home from home for their visitors. Very comfortable bed with good quality bedding which in my experience is very unusual, we slept very well. At the end of a tiring day it was so relaxing to sit outside with a glass of wine and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the park. Would I recommend this lodge absolutely!!!! we will be back.... Couldn't recommend staying here more highl
Great place, spotlessly clean, very well equipped with some really thoughtful touches. The owners lived nearby and couldn't have been more helpful!
I would like to say that the holiday home we rented for two nights in Haveringland was lovely
