School holidays
School holidays in the UK are set over several months. In the UK there are 6 school holiday including February half term, this is followed by the Easter holidays these holidays change slightly each year depending on the moon. Easter Day is the first Sunday after the paschal full moon – so if the full moon is on a Sunday, Easter will be a week later. After Easter there is a spring half term which tends to be towards the end of May. Summer holidays usually begins towards the end of July and ends around the start of September, this is around 6 weeks of holiday for the children! October half term lasts a week and is a great time to celebrate Halloween with family and friends. Then we have Christmas and New Year.
There is ample opportunity for you and your family and/or friends to get a fun-filled, exciting family holiday at one of our family friendly parks or a tranquil and peaceful retreat in a much quieter woodland setting. The Holiday Parks often host events, for example during October half term expect to see a Halloween themed holiday park with special nights involving the best dressed table as well as a pumpkin carving competition provided by the UK Holiday Parks. Not to forget, over Easter half time you can enjoy Easter egg hunting around the Holiday parks and spend real quality time with your family or loved ones.
